Challenge

To create a CD ROM presentation that would capture the customer’s attention and effectively showcase Smart Christmas Solutions as the single source solution for Christmas products.

Solution

An intro flash animation with appropriate images, music and text was used to highlight the different categories SCS deals in and the benefits of shopping with SCS setting the tone for the rest of the presentation. Different home pages were created for each of the categories to give a unique look and feel and capture the customer’s interest. In addition navigation options like search and paging were provided so that customers could quickly locate and select products of their choice.

Results

A successful portrayal of Smart Christmas Solutions offerings, that created an aura of the Christmas sprit around the user.

  • An intro flash animation with appropriate images, music and text depicting a visual panorama of all the categories of SCS’s products portfolio.
  • The products database is picked from a XML file, thus can easily be modified.
  • A different home page for each category bringing out the unique look and feel of each category.
  • An engaging interactive panorama of the SCS showroom.
  • Ability for customers to register and create an account with SCS as well as retrieval of password in case the customer forgets their password, through direct interaction with the online site.
  • A keyword and category search to enable customers to quickly locate products of their choice.
  • Ability to add a product item to a basket
  • Ability to send an enquiry, through direct connection with the website.
